463 new cases and five more deaths by Covid-19 in Portugal

The number of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 69,663.

There are 463 new cases of coronavirus compared to Monday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 69,663. Five people have died in the last 24 hours. The Lisbon and Tagus Valley region continues to concentrate the largest number of new infections, with 43% of the total.

Of the total number of infected, most are undergoing treatment at home, with only 546 inpatients, 70 of them in intensive care units. There are over 40,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it appeared in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 1,925 people, five of them in the last 24 hours. In total, 45,974 people have already recovered from the disease.
