There are 421 new cases of coronavirus in Portugal. Death toll at 1,492

The number of cases of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 35,306. Since the outbreak was detected in the country, 1,492 people have died.

There are 421 new cases of coronavirus in Portugal, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 35,306. The Lisbon region continues to have the highest number of new infections. So far, 1,492 people have died.

Of the total number of infected, most are undergoing treatment at home, with only 394 being admitted, 65 of them in intensive care. There are 1,618 people awaiting laboratory results and more than 30,000 under surveillance by health authorities.

Since it appeared in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 1,492 people, seven of them in the last 24 hours. As for the number recovered, this is 21,339.
