There are 366 new cases of coronavirus in Portugal. Death toll at 1,447

The number of cases of coronavirus infections in the country has increased to 33.261. Since the outbreak was detected in the country 1,447 people have died.

The number of people infected with coronavirus is currently at 33,261, having increased 1.1% compared to this Tuesday. In the last 24 hours, 11 people have died from the disease, according to the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Since the outbreak began in Portugal on March 2, 33,261 confirmed cases of Covid-19 have been detected in the country, more 366 than the previous day. As far as the number of deaths is concerned, 1,447 deaths have been recorded.

The number of new infections reported this Wednesday is the highest since May 8, and following what has been observed over the past few days, most of the new infections were in the Lisbon region. 335 new cases were identified in this region, representing almost 92% of today’s total number.
