REN, EDP and EDP Renováveis ended the week with gains close to 2%.

Lisbon closed this Friday on a high, with the main index appreciating 0.86% thanks to companies in the energy sector, almost all with gains close to 2%, in a very negative week for the main European markets.

The PSI-20 closed at 0.83%, driven by the gains of REN, which valued 1.9%, and EDP Renováveis and EDP, which valued 1.87% and 1.83%, respectively. Galp also ended the week in positive territory, but with less significant gains, valuing 0.87%.

Those who continue to suffer losses are the BCP, which has lost another 0.31% in the hangover from the assessment of the Court of Justice of the European Union, which has decided that Polish justice can judge the cases of thousands of Polish debtors who have contracted housing loans in Swiss francs, and which can force Polish banks to convert these debts into the local currency, with a very high impact on their balance sheets.
