Warren Buffett’s real estate company to enter Portugal

The multimillionaire will enter the Portuguese real estate market through the subsidiary Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices.

The Portuguese real estate market continues to shine abroad and to attract more and more investors. This time it was the American Warren Buffett, considered one of the richest people in the world, who allowed himself to be conquered. After entering Spain, the multimillionaire is now preparing to enter the domestic market.

Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices (BHHS), a company of which Warren Buffett is the main shareholder, chairman of the board and executive director, will be the gateway to the national real estate.

It is not yet know how this debut will happen, but the official announcement will be made this Friday, in Lisbon, where will be present the company’s world leaders.

Last year, Buffett’s real estate company entered the London and Berlin markets, speculating that its presence in other European countries would not end there.

It was then that, in July of this year, through the same subsidiary, Warren Buffett debuted in real estate in Spain, signing a partnership with the Spanish company Larvia for the sale of real estate in the medium and luxury segment.

According to Forbes’ 2019 list, Warren Buffett is the third richest person in the world, with a fortune estimated at 82.5 billion dollars (75.4 billion euros). Next appears Bill Gates (96.5 billion dollars) and Jeff Bezos (131 billion dollars).
