Portuguese 2018 State Budget will be voted on November 28

The Portuguese 2018 State Budget will be presented on October 13, and the voting should take place on November 28, one month after the debate of each area in the document.

The Portuguese 2018 State Budget will have its final voting on November 28, stated this Tuesday the Portuguese news agency Lusa, according to what was decided in the parliamentary leaders’ conference.

The 2018 State Budget draft will be handed in on October 13, two days before the due date, which was October 15, Sunday. After that, the Budget as a whole will be voted on November 3, and each particular area in the document will be debated for a month, before the final overall voting in the end of November.

The negotiations for the State Budget draft have begun, with the Government negotiating each area of the document with the parties from the Left parliamentary coalition (Communist Party – PCP, Left Block – BE and the Greens).
