BlackRock snaps up more EDP shares, now holds 7.38%
In today's stock market session, EDP shares rose 2.28% to 4.76 euros.
BlackRock increased its position in EDP to 7.38%, after its subsidiary Fund Advisors reached a qualified stake of 2% in the electricity company, the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM) was informed on Thursday.
“On 18 August 2021, BlackRock, Inc. informed EDP […] that its subsidiary BlackRock Fund Advisors reached a qualified holding of 2% of the share capital and respective voting rights of EDP, directly held,” the statement issued to the market said.
BlackRock now holds 7.38% of EDP, up from the 7.12% position communicated to the CMVM on May 20.
In today’s stock market session, EDP shares rose 2.28% to 4.76 euros.
