Mota-Engil first semester’s profit rises 24.4% to €5.7M
Profits from the construction company increased in June by 24.4%, compared to last years results.
Portuguese construction company Mota-Engil, saw profits rise to €5.7M (+24.4%) until June, compared to 2017, excluding the IAS 20 impact the net result is €15.2M, the company stated on Wednesday.
In a statement sent to the Portuguese Securities Market Commission (CMVM), Mota-Engil noted that its turnover increased 4.6% to €1,251M, “which reflected the transitional phase between a set of relevant projects that are ending and a set of new projects in Latin America and Africa (especially in new markets) that are now in their starting phase”.
