With the new headquarters, which involved an investment of €500,000, the company plans to reach 400 employees in Portugal by the end of 2022.

The Spanish ABAI has just announced the inauguration of its new headquarters in Lisbon, which will function as a new customer service centre, with Endesa as its key client, as well as Arval – BNP Paribas Group or Avaya. Comprising an area of 3,000 square metres, two floors and the capacity to receive a total of 500 professionals, the building – located in the Colombo Shopping Centre towers in Lisbon – is a key platform for the company and a gateway to important clients. The investment made by ABAI in this new headquarters was 500 thousand euros and the goal, until the end of the year, is to double the team in Portugal, ECO knows.

“With the opening of the new centre, ABAI intends to create jobs in the Portuguese market and continue to grow in terms of business and staff. The aim for the end of the year is to double the number of employees in Portugal and reach 400 professionals,” says an official source to ECO.

Portugal is “a very important country” for ABAI. “This model shows our commitment to growth through new and improved infrastructure that allows us to have sustainable growth allied to our clients,” Javier López Cuevas, chairman of ABAI’s board of directors, said in a statement.

“Our team is our strength and the pillar of our commitment to our clients. For this reason, we are committed to a dynamic work environment that promotes personal development and innovation, and that allows us to respond with excellent service to our clients’ needs,” he continues.

ABAI began its activity in Portugal in April 2021 through the acquisition of Leads4sales, a Portuguese company specialising in digital marketing and lead generation, as part of its Strategic Acquisition Plan and to strengthen its position in the business process outsourcing sector.

ABAI has ten service centres in Madrid, Barcelona, A Coruña, Zaragoza, Malaga, Jaén and León (Spain), Manizales (Colombia), Lisbon (Portugal) and Sao Paulo (Brazil), with a total of 6,000 employees.
