Located near the well-known San Lorenzo Columns, in Milan, this clinic will have 14 surgery rooms, three treatment rooms and a medical team composed of more than a hundred specialists in this area.

The Insparya Group, dedicated to diagnosis, treatment and research in health and hair transplantation, will open its first clinic in Italy in September, with an investment estimated at €2 million.

Located near the well-known San Lorenzo Columns, in Milan, this clinic will have 14 surgery rooms, three treatment rooms and a medical team composed of more than a hundred specialists in this area, led by Carlos Pontinha.

In a statement, the northern group points out that these new facilities, with a total of 1,300 square metres, are part of a wider expansion project worth €20 million for the next three years, which foresees the opening of new clinics “in the main European capitals”.

Founded and led by economist Paulo Ramos, the former Saúde Viável group – which so far has clinics in Porto, Braga, Lisbon, Vilamoura, Marbella, Madrid and Valencia and employs around 300 people – includes footballer Cristiano Ronaldo and the Vallis/Hermes consortium of Luso-British funds among its shareholders.

“Italy is a country that, from the beginning, welcomed me in the best way and made me feel at home. Italians care a lot about their image, they like to take care of themselves and look after their health. Therefore, I believe that the quality of Insparya will surprise and conquer them, and I am thrilled to be able to take part actively in this new opening,” said Cristiano Ronaldo, quoted in the same note.

The CEO and founder, Paulo Ramos, adds that “there was already a great awareness and special attention to hair health, but in the Italian market there was no offer of treatments and transplants as complete and advanced as the ones [it] offers”. “The demand and the opportunity to enter a new and interesting market made us choose Milan,” explains the entrepreneur.
