199 new cases and two deaths by Covid-19 in Portugal

Since the start of the pandemic, Portugal has had 842,381 cases and 17,009 deaths from Covid-19.

There are 199 new cases of coronavirus compared to Sunday, bringing the total number of people infected with the disease to 842,381. Two people have died in the last 24 hours, according to the latest official report of the Directorate-General for Health (DGS).

Of the total number of people infected with the new coronavirus, most are undergoing treatment at home, with 246  inpatients, 72 of them in intensive care units (ICU). There are over 22,000 under the surveillance of the health authorities.

Since it was detected in Portugal at the beginning of March, the coronavirus has caused the death of 17,009 people, two of them in the last 24 hours.
